Diane Poole Heller Ph.D. is a lively, inviting speaker with a focus
on teaching highly effective trauma healing techniques. An established
expert in the field of trauma resolution she is noted for her ability
to communicate complex topics with humor and clarity.
Diane has been a featured speaker at the US National Psychotherapy
Networker, The National Institute for the Clinical Application of
Behavioral Medicine (NICABM), and the European Society for Traumatic
Stress Studies conferences.
Her book "Crash Course" is a powerful guide to resolving
auto accident and general trauma. Since 1992, Diane has served as
a faculty member of the Foundation for Human Enrichment and as collaborative
colleague of Peter Levine, Ph.D., founder of the Somatic Experiencing® method
of trauma resolution. As a senior faculty member she teaches beginning
through post advanced levels of Somatic Experiencing® to therapists
in the US and Internationally.
She was featured in a CNN segment Columbine: Surviving the Trauma
and trained therapists to work with 9/11 survivors.
Dr. Heller passionately continues her spiritual studies, which began
in 1978 in the Diamond Approach work. She continues to weave what
she has learned in the field of body, mind and spiritual sciences
to create a holistic approach to trauma healing.
This workshop series will combine the work of Allan Shore, Peter
Levine, Dan Siegel and Jean Illsey Clark with Dr Heller's 25 years
of experience as a Diamond Approach student, and senior faculty member
of Peter Levine's Foundation for Human enrichment.
